  This is a great system. If you live in an apartment or dorm, this will be perfect for you. However, I personally, wouldn't use it as a home security system. You get a personal alarm, a door alarm and a window alarm. It's a great price for 3 alarms. Here is my opinion on all three.

  The door alarm- it is actually the loudest of all 3 alarms. You have an on and off switch you can easily reach. In order for it to function properly you need a gap of 3/8" under the door. The issue i have with this is that a person can easily push it out of the way and try to break in. Of course, that is worst case scenario. It will wake the household members, but not loud enough to wake the neighbors.

  The window alarm- I like the option it has to use the alarm sound or the chime sound. I put it in my basement since there are windows. It's loud, but I wish it was a tad bit louder. If you're a sound sleeper, you might not hear it. It is a great way to add security though.

  The personal alarm- It has a light, which gives off a good, bright light. You place it on your key chain, which is good. You simply pull it and the alarm sounds. It's actually a pretty loud alarm. It will definitely scare people away. Great for teens, kids or women. You can never be too careful.

  All in all, it's a pretty good system. Like I said, it's great for smaller areas. It will definitely make thieves think twice, but not as loud as I prefer. It's easy to use, easy to figure out and definitely easy to install. If you can't afford a home security system, this is the way to go.
