I'm No Betty Crocker

Arroz con Leche

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I won't say that I'm Betty Crocker, but I can throw down. I love baking.  When i was younger,  my dad would ask me to bake him those boxed cake mixes. It became a weekly thing and I looked forward to it. That's where that "love" for baking began.

I have a bit of a sweet tooth and yesterday I was craving rice pudding. I decided to make some. This is, however,  the Mexican version called Arroz con Leche. It's quite simple to make. Very few ingredients too. Bay leaves, cinnamon,  evaporated milk,  sweet condensed milk, brown sugar, milk , water, and rice. You can add raisins and garnish with whip cream and cinnamon if you like.
