This is a really great electric kettle. Besides the fact that it's stainless steel, which truly stands the test of time, it's also very sturdy. It holds 1.7L of liquids. Whether you're a tea drinker, coffee drinker or just need boring water this kettle comes in handy.
I really like how the base is the one that goes plugged in. You simply place the kettle on the base. This is great because you can serve yourself or guests without having the cord dangling. It has 1 simple button to power it on/off. When you power it on a blue LED light comes on around the windows on each side of the kettle. I timed it and it took 10 minutes to boil the entire kettle of water-1.7L. It also comes with a built in filter near the spout which is useful for loose tea leaves. When done boiling, the kettle automatically powers off. I love that feature. It's sleek looking, works great and heats up fast.
