This VonChef Espresso Machine is awesome! We are coffee lovers and most of our friends are as well. Why go to Starbucks when I can make my own barista style lattes and espressos? The money I'm saving now. Honestly, the instructions are quite self explanatory, but I looked on Youtube simply because I'm a visual type of person. It wasn't the This is definitely a crowd pleaser.
I love how I can make 2 cups simultaneously. From hot cocoa to espresso, there's something for all. Especially since it's winter, a nice warm drink hits the spot. I have to admit, the frothing aspect is my favorite. No more having to use my mini frother. The machine does it for me. I will say that it is a little bulky if you plan to put it on your counters. Not so much in height, but in width. I love that I can use my flavored ground coffee. I don't need filters as a filter mesh is provided. You even get a scoop for the coffee. The removable water container is also good because I can take it directly to the sink to fill. The drip tray prevents your counters from getting wet as well. I'm still experimenting and my technique is not to perfection yet, but I'm getting there. The buttons are very simple. It did take me practice, but I'm so excited.
Upon using it, you are supposed to run water through it. It does make noise upon starting it up the first time. After that run, it is not noisy at all. Truly a great machine for lattes, espressos and hot cocoa. Very impressed! Product received at no cost for review purposes. Review based on experience and opinions.
