Straighten It Out!

I have a mixture between wavy to curly hair. Most times I blow dry then use a flat iron. That causes a lot of damage. I had been wanting to try a straightening brush, but was a bit skeptical. I wasn't sure it would or could get my roots, but it actually does. This Hairika straightener brush doesn't put so much direct heat on your hair yet manages to straighten it.

Now, it does take a little longer to heat up than my flat iron, but not a big issue. The power button and temperature control are on one side of the brush. The only issue I had with that was that I kept pushing the buttons as I ran it through my hair. The brush itself is very sturdy. I also love the thick cord on it. Most times my flat irons wear out from the cord and not the iron itself. It also has velcro on the cord so when you wrap the cord it can tie with the velcro. This brush comes with 2 clips and a pouch to store it in.

First, I brushed my hair out good. Then, I used the clips and straightened my hair out in sections. I really like how it heats up, but it doesn't feel hot on my scalp and the brush wasn't hot to touch either. The bristles dont poke your scalp either. I have a semi sensitive scalp at times. I felt it straightened nicely. I'm actually impressed with the results. In my photos you can see the process. I think I'm ditching my flat iron and sticking to this brush. Straightening brush received at no cost for review purposes.
