This Raphycool Straightening Brush Is Better Than Flat Irons

First of all, I am now a believer of a straightening brush vs a flat iron. When you see the difference it might make you convert to one yourself. I feel a flat iron flattens and straightens and adds direct heat to your hair. This Raphycool straightening brush completely runs through your hair strands and you don't feel that direct heat on it. I tried another straightening brush and really loved it, but this one is so much better. It heats up in less than 2 minutes and leaves hair shiny.

So, the difference between this brush and the one I have is that this one uses steam. The steam makes a huge difference. You are provided with a mini bottle to fill the detachable water resevoir. You fill it with water while it's off. Then, you power it on. It has an LCD screen which makes it easy to read. You will hear a beep once it's on. In less than 2 minutes it's ready. You may have to adjust from Celsius to Farenheit as mine came in the Celsius setting. You simply push the steam button for 3 seconds and it'll change the setting. It heats up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Adjust it to your desired temperature setting. The screen will keep blinking. Once it reaches your temperature setting it'll stop blinking. It's ready to use. You can literally hear and see the steam working. Also, it has pictures of steam and arrows on the brush. Make sure you straighten your hair with the arrows facing downwards. If you don't, the steam function doesn't work properly.

Now it's ready. Make sure you comb or brush your hair before using this brush. If you don't, it will not glide through your hair and will get hung in your hair. I have medium to fine hair that is a mixture between curly and wavy. I parted it in sections and ran it through a couple times.

I'll tell you that this brush doesn't leave any mark like sometimes a flat iron leaves. It leaves your hair so soft and shiny due to the steam. It doesn't feel like it burns my hair like with the flat iron. The ends have a really smooth and flat finish as well. I really do recommend this brush. I was skeptical about these brushes at first because I've used a flat iron for over 15 years, but I'm a believer now. Brush received at no cost for review purposes. Review based on my personal experience and results.
